Forskningsnettet

Forskningsnettet is managed by the Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation under the Ministry of Science, Innovation and higher education. It has its own Management Committee and its own Network Secretariat

100.000 employees and students of universities and research institutions use Forskningsnettet.

Mission
Forskningsnettet is in charge of the operation and development of network and services to universities and research institutions:

• Forskningsnettet offers an operational network and shared network based services to universities and researvhers in Denmark with a focus on the technological development and the needs of its users
• Forskningsnettets collects and disseminates expertise on the use of the network and the services.

Vision
Forskningsnettet should achieve international standards for all users:

• Forskningsnettet is an innovative and professional organisation which provides high quality services by knowing and collaborating with its users
• Forskningsnettet is the natural choise for development and operation of the shared IT infrastructure of universities
• Forskningsnettet collaborates with all relevant parties to coordinate national research oriented services.
